POSITION SUMMARY:   Provides intraoperative care to patients by functioning as the scrub person assisting the surgical team during an operative procedure. The Surgical Technologist, Strategic Staffing Solutions, will be a full-time employee of WVU Medicine and will be placed on assignment at any of our system hospitals and/or clinics.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

18 months of scrub experience in a tertiary setting

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

West Virginia, Ohio and/or Pennsylvania state and/or federal fingerprint-based criminal background check(s) for regulated areas, as applicable.
