Description

Position Summary: Provides patient care based on the principles and practices of Practical Nursing, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse that does not require the substantial specialized skill, judgment and knowledge required of professional nursing

 

Minimum Qualifications:

- Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Practical Nursing, or appropriate state board where services
will be provided, as a practical nurse OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure
Compact (eNLC)

-Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date

- West Virginia state criminal background check, and federal, if applicable, required for DHHR regulated area.
