Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a wide range of clerical duties in support of assigned patient care department as well as extensive monitoring function for all cardiac telemetry and hard-wire monitored patients and monitors a specified number of patients ordered pulse oximetry and capnography in a centralized location. This position also possesses a good knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and utilizes effective communication with multiple units nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Certification in HeartSaver OR Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

- Successful completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course.
