Title Electronic Health Records Applications Analyst

Description Responsible for the support, analysis, testing, documentation, implementation, and training of end users for all Agency health and health-related Electronic Health Records applications (Allscripts, Anasazi, Dentrix), and all interfaces with other business applications. Assists in evaluation, analysis, maintenance, and development of system functionality to meet business objectives, including participating in and/or leading project planning and implementation teams and performing workflow analysis. Coordinates resolution of system process or performance issues, interacting with application users, along with internal and external technology resources. Will be the primary resource for researching and responding to information requests from management staff and outside regulatory entities. Serves as the liaison between business and clinical departments and IS technology teams, and assists with end user education and training.
Requirements Associates Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Health Information Management and 4 years of experience utilizing and/or supporting the use of an Electronic Health Records application in a large networked environment, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Health Information Management and 2 years of experience utilizing and/or supporting the use of an Electronic Health Record application in a large networked environment.
