RESIDENCE MANAGER

Responsible for the day to day operation and management of a residence within our community serving individuals with disabilities.  Will also provide administrative supervision of the staff assigned to the home.  Ensures that the needs of the individuals that reside within the home are met.

OTHER DUTIES:

 

 

  1. Develop relationship with the Residence Managers and DSPs to aide in the coverage needs.

     

  2. Knowledge of scheduling module with in Ceridian/Dayforce and maybe required to train new managers and DSPs on the system.

     

  3. Maintain schedules within Ceridian/Dayforce for assigned locations.

 

  1. Responsible to post schedules for staff review.

     

  2. Responsible to receive calls from staff needing to use PTO and open shift to be filled.

     

  3. Fill shifts due to staff utilization of PTO time or staff vacancies. 

     

  4. Receive calls from direct care staff regarding people that we support who are ill and are required to remain at home and will need day coverage.

     

  5.  If unable to cover a shift, may need to mandate staff to stay until coverage located.

 

  1. Will work rotation of days, evenings, weekends and holidays to maintain coverage within sites. 

 

 

REQUIRED TOOLS:

 

  1. Ceridian/Dayforce  (Scheduler Role)
Requirements

High school diploma or GED plus five (5) years of progressive work experience, preferably in a field of human services, a minimum of one (1) year of which was management/supervisory in nature. Experience serving individuals with disabilities, including treatment/service planning strongly preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record according to guidelines established by agency insurance carrier or equivalent accommodations required.

NOTE: A degree can be substituted for experience as cited above on a year for year basis. Management reserves the right to fill vacant position with individuals who possess advanced education as necessary.

This is an Exempt position, scheduled 48 hours/week. Typical schedule will be 10 am- 10 pm, 4 days a week, or 10p-10 am, 4 days a week, may include one weekend day each week. Availability for on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis is required, as well as, availability to work non-traditional hours as needed or assigned to ensure adequate direct care coverage. As an Exempt employee, incumbent will receive an annual salary commensurate with assigned responsibilities and salary classification, however, incumbent is expected and required to work as many hours as necessary to fulfill assigned job responsibilities.
