Description

Panalpina is seeking Customer Service Agent, Team Lead to assist management in leading the packing operation in all operational disciplines and ensure operational excellence, high productivity and customer satisfaction.

TASKS:

  • Train staff on packing procedures, cargo handling and loading/unloading
  • Assure adequate and timely training of staff on hazardous materials and regulations
  • Inspect hazardous cargo to ensure proper compliance with safety regulations
  • Assure compliance with packing policies and procedures
  • Report to management on any unusual issues regarding shipments
  • Recommend changes in procedures in order to improve the packing operating efficiency
  • Monitor and control packing equipment and supplies
  • Control/monitor proper documentation and labeling
  • Assist management in training and education of the department staff and supervise cross-training
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management
  • Coordinate workflow
