Position Summary:
This individual will execute marketing and selling efforts with targeted NxStage accounts in the integrated health plans sectors and to support other provider customer’s efforts to receive payment from commercial payors for NxStage therapy. This position will also manage marketing and selling efforts to consolidated providers of renal therapies to skilled nursing facilities and to ensure successful implementation of NxStage products in acute dialysis and Home/Chronic settings. In addition the individual may facilitate physician to physician and nurse to nurse interactions between existing reference accounts and target accounts in order to drive NxStage business.


Responsibilities:
• Lead all elements of Regional Territory Management including customer targeting, prospecting, selling, closing, implementing and following up with targeted Home Care accounts
• Customer targeting, selling effort execution, and contracting with targeted accounts
• Preparation of materials to support commercial reimbursement for NxStage therapy
• Rally NxStage resources to grow the business in Region
• Coordinate and inspire clinical education team as well as other colleagues to exceed customer expectations
• Proactively make suggestions and implement actions leading to continual improvement of individual and NxStage team performance


Requirements Education & Qualifications:
• B.S./B.A. or equivalent
• 5+ years of sales and sales management experience, with at least 2 years in the dialysis industry
• At least 1 year of major account selling and marketing experience, preferably with commercial payors
• Travel required (at least 50%)
• Frequent lifting of heavy equipment of up to 80 pounds
