This position will work on 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11pm

The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations and activities. The position is also responsible for performing all transactions related to production fulfillment and raw material receiving. The incumbent will be responsible for securing the building at the end of the shift and assist in directing activities of a 6 team staff under the direction of the warehouse supervisor. This position requires a close working relationship with all levels of management within the Warehouse, Operations and Distribution Center teams. Works directly with all warehouse associates.


1. Assist in directing the work activities of the Warehouse Center by assigning work load for shift warehouse associates composed of 6 associates, scheduling raw material pick request and fulfillment, ensuring all required materials have been ordered and received. All associated receipts and transfers are completed by end of shift.
2. Secure the facility at the end of the shift by ensuring all machines are charged, lights shut off, doors locked and building armed.
3. Maintain safety, quality and productivity goals for Warehouse staff.
4. Maintains acceptable and accurate inventory levels by performing periodic cycle counts
5. Prepares Bill of Lading and packing slips for all shipments. Process small parcel shipments via FedX / UPS.
6. Communicates with Quality Assurance to expedite the availability of products and release of required raw material components.
7. Ability to perform all inventory transactions and processes
8. Communicates with all warehouse groups to ensure accurate transfer of inventory.
9. Maintains accurate records and documentation of transactions.
10. Implement a control system to reduce damages and inventory errors.
11. Assists Warehouse Manager and Supervisors in managing the daily warehouse operation, may be required to perform individual team member work as the operation warrants.
12. Entering receipts in system.
13. Take corrective action, including recommendation of disciplinary action, training, safe work practices.
14. Develop metrics for cycle counting accuracy, material movement activities.
15. Assist in preparing and processing year-end inventory.


1. Meet or exceed production goals set by ensuring all component
inventories are correct and available in a timely fashion.
2. Meet or exceed receiving goals by ensuring all receipts are entered in a timely manner.
3. Ensure all safety and quality goals are met for the Warehouse Operation.
4. Ensure facility is audit ready at all times
5. Timely and accurate completion of inventory transactions

High School Diploma
Associate degree or higher

1. Knowledge of computerized inventory and shipping systems required preferably BPCS
2. Familiar with use of bar-coding systems
3. Knowledge of cycle counting and inventory reports.
4. PC literate including knowledge of Microsoft software such as Excel, Word.
5. Familiar with UPS and Fed Ex shipping systems
6. Fork lift certification and operation required

2-4 years of warehouse experience required; 2 years of leadership experience preferred.

1. Willing to work overtime on weekends as required.
2. Good written and verbal communication skills
3. Able to handle conflict and take corrective action as required.
4. Occasional heavy lifting
