We have several locations across the US and are looking for new Associates to join our team!

POSITION PURPOSE

This is a Part-Time, 24-26 hour a week position working 3-4 days a week, inclusive of Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The primary purpose of this position is to process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for all US salaried and hourly paid associates, including associates in sales and other offices. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining the automated time keeping system. Ensuring the payroll system is maintained and operating efficiently is a key responsibility of this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Process weekly payroll for all Nice-Pak and PDI US hourly employees.
• Enter payroll information into the payroll system.
• Review payroll reports to ensure for accuracy of data
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
• Monitor use of Timekeeping System for exceptions, attendance adjustments, and functionality
• Work with Plant Managers and Supervisors to ensure Timekeeping System is maintained and updated on a timely basis
• Responsible for payroll auditing (union audit, worker’s compensation, PWC, etc.)
• Perform daily payroll department operations

Requirements QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
• HS diploma or equivalent work experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
• MS Office (word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), strong Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in processing payroll using an automated payroll system is required.
• Experience in UltiPro and UltiPro Time Management system preferred

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Ability to function in a deadline sensitive environment is critical
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
• Manage workload, while meeting multiple simultaneous deadlines
• Must have the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
