We have several locations across the US and are looking for new Associates to join our team!


This position is a member of the R&D Analytical team and will work to support development and continued improvement of disinfectants, antiseptics and cleaning products in our Healthcare and Professional Food service businesses.
The primary function of this position is to perform assay testing, stability studies, method development, method validation, and method transfer for our Environment of Care business function.


a. Performs routine and non-routine analytical testing using chromatography (GC, LC), titration (auto and manual), and/or spectroscopy (FTIR, NIR, UV/Vis).
b. Develops, validates, and transfers analytical test methods to Quality Control and/or external testing labs.
c. Drafts validation and stability protocols, reports, and executes experiments.

a. Technically mentors technicians and other junior scientists in analytical techniques, safety, and good documentation practices.
b. A test methods, SOPs, WI, and other project reports independently.
c. Calibrates analytical instrumentation and equipment; prepares reagents as needed.
d. Troubleshoots analytical equipment and processes with an eye towards continuous improvement.

a. Help formulators to design experiments to test product prototypes.
b. Adhere to strict timelines and communicate testing status to the larger formulation team.
c. Provide analytical support to QC and regulatory, as needed.

1. Able to communicate and cooperate with other team members and cross function teams effectively.
2. Meet timelines and be able to balance priorities according to stakeholder needs.
3. Demonstrate research skills to adopt new test methods or implement improvements.
4. Willing to learn additional analytical skills and take on more responsibility and functional activities
5. Demonstrate year on year improvements in efficiency.

• University degree in Science or Engineering required
• MS degree, or higher, in Chemistry preferred

• Previous experience in a R&D or QC lab working with chromatography equipment
• Strong analytical chemistry, method development and validation understanding.
• Working knowledge of EPA and FDA regulations would be beneficial.

• 3+ years of industry working experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop new methods.
• Proficient with a variety of analytical test methods, including LC and GC.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal / written).
• Highly motivated to work as a member of a nimble team. Embraces change and risk, and exhibits flexibility.
• Exhibits excellent organization, planning and multi-tasking skills; able to handle multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
• Computer literate (MS 365, Empower, Electronic Notebook).
