This position is a member of the R&D Analytical team and will work to support development and continued improvement of disinfectants, antiseptics, cleaning products in our Healthcare, Professional Food Service, and Contract business units.
The primary function of this position is to support the analytical stability program, including, but not limited to: creating the stability calendar, maintain the stability chambers, ensure sample traceability, and to implement the workflows for cross-functional stability needs. In addition, this role will be performing analytical testing such as, pH, titrations, specific gravity and/or spectroscopy. This individual will be responsible to uphold our quality, safety, and efficiency in the laboratory.


a. Performs routine analytical testing, such as: titration (auto and manual), spectroscopy (FTIR, NIR, UV/Vis), pH, and/or color/odor/appearance.
b. Creates the documentation, items numbers, and labels for new stability samples. Updates the stability calendar with required information upon submission.
c. Maintains the walk-in stability chamber logs, organizes samples within chambers, and ensures sample traceability throughout testing life cycle.

a. Prepares mobile phases, buffers, reagents, sample preparations, dilutions, etc. as needed.
b. Maintains supplies and equipment as required.
c. Drafts reports, performs data analysis, and maintains a compliant laboratory notebook.

a. Adhere to strict timelines and communicate testing status to the larger formulation team.
b. Provide analytical support to QC and regulatory, as needed.

1. Willing to learn additional analytical skills and take on more responsibility and functional activities
2. Able to work efficiently to meet timelines and balance priorities as directed by supervisor.
3. Communicate effectively with other team members and across the organization with R&D.

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate or BS University degree in Science or Engineering preferred

• Previous experience in a R&D or QC lab
• Computer literate (MS 365, Empower, Electronic Notebook).
• Analytical chemistry, method development and validation understanding desirable.
• Willing to learn the FDA, ICH, etc. regulations related to their testing

• Previous experience in a R&D or QC laboratory required
• GMP training desired

• GMP experience; able to follow explicit directions, keep diligent records, and conduct work with the highest integrity.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal / written).
• Ability to read, write, and interpret scientific data.


About 80% Lab and 10% office environment.
