POSITION PURPOSE

Fantastic career opportunity to join the Contract Manufacturing Division of PDI – the global leader in wet wipes manufacturing!

This position will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our customer order requirements for many global brands. You will work closely with our customers and will be a primary liaison between our customers and internal support groups. As Sales Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the division’s sales targets and satisfying customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Enter and track all customer purchase orders from order entry through production, quality release and shipment
• Daily collaboration with Planning, Quality, Warehouse, and Operations in order to coordinate activities related to delivering customer products as scheduled
• Interface with internal business partners to obtain needed information for customer communications
• Work directly within customer SAP platforms and other web based systems to issue customer specific production and shipment notifications Generate weekly/monthly customer reports per request
• Maintain channels of communication with customer to make sure needs are met
• Work closely with finance on invoice discrepancy resolution and past due invoices with customers
• Maintain account specific special shipping instructions within the ERP system, and audit to ensure compliance
• Process RMA’s and credit requests for customers as needed
• Process intercompany billings for orders shipped
• Route bill of material change controls, and manufacturing instructions as needed
• Update work instruction and SOPs as directed
• Other duties as assigned

1. Customer service levels at or above desired goals
2. Internal and customer specified reports issued accurately and in timely manner
3. Accuracy in order processing from point of order receipt to customer delivery
4. External customer metrics on various objectives
5. Customer feedback and satisfaction
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: 4 year college degree in science or business required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook is required. Experience with EDI electronic submissions is highly preferred. Knowledge of AS400/BPCS, WMS and JDA systems would be helpful, but not required. Experience in pharmaceutical/ OTC manufacturing along with supply chain experience would be a plus. Experience with international shipments would also be helpful but not required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-5 years of work experience in a customer support role in a manufacturing environment. Candidate must be able to multi-task, work well in teams, be detail oriented and highly motivated.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Self-starter; highly motivated with a desire to succeed. Great communication skills (verbal and written), detail oriented, ability to multitask, and collaborate within cross-functional groups. Organize workload efficiently. Must have excellent follow-up skills. Motivation, drive, a desire to be the best to our customers and a passion to learn and excel.
