Harvard Business Publishing’s Corporate Learning Global Delivery Team is currently recruiting Program Coordinators. The Program Coordinator is a key member of the Global Delivery team who is an essential part of our delivery team and helps to drive client satisfaction while working across a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate has high energy, an eye for detail, can balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and is client focused.

Working as part of a team and under the direction of the Senior Engagement Manager, the Program Coordinator manages the organizational and logistical components of virtual education events and learning activities for program participants. The Program Coordinator will work frequently with client sponsors and participants, Harvard Business School faculty, Harvard Business Publishing experts and other members of the Global Delivery team.

The Program Coordinator may, from time to time, also conduct special projects in support of our growing business. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with various online and technology platforms such as webinars, videoconferencing and web-based content management systems. Flexibility and strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Examples of Key Responsibilities:
• Program and Event Coordination
o Lead flawless production of online learning programs by scheduling and managing webinar and videoconference events
o Provide support to the Delivery team in delivery of first-class education experiences for clients
o Develop program calendars and syllabi
o Create and compile communication material for participants
o Proof slide decks and emails for spelling/logistical errors
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical, scheduling, and content issues in real-time
o Conduct and compile session and program evaluations and communicate results to stakeholders
o Understand program designs and schedules in detail; Anticipate and correct issues before they happen
• Content Management
o Become proficient with online content management systems and manage all client portal updates
o Produce program materials drawing upon HBPs vast content resources
• Client and Functional Responsibilities
o Participate in and contribute to regular client meetings and help to provide timely follow up to client needs
o Assist team in managing internal operations related to client programs and contractors (e.g. forecasting, budget tracking, invoicing, payments, and filing)

The Program Coordinator opening is a long-term contracted position (approximately 40 hours a week). The following benefits are available to candidates in this position:

Requirements REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a client or customer service oriented position
• Proven success working in a team environment and in balancing multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented and an effective communicator: in-person, phone, and in writing
• Comfortable with collaborative technologies such as WebEx and videoconferencing
• Proficiency required with MS Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be able to adapt to an ever-changing, ever-growing organization and enjoy working in a high energy, fast-paced active environment
• Able to work effectively within a team and across cultures with clients around the globe
• Thrives in an entrepreneurial setting – this is a high growth business
• A genuine interest in adult education and leadership development fields and in innovative uses of technologies
• Ability to work some evenings and the occasional weekend
