Summary of Position
An enthusiastic, business-oriented physician interested in joining the nations leading wound care provider with 700 wound care clinics, 400 SNF relationships and a growing inpatient services program. This individual’s role will be primarily focused on building and launching the company’s services and technology in multiple sites of care. They will also act as a subject matter expert supporting Healogics’ rapid sales into healthsystems and eventually health plans. They will work collaboratively with operations, sales and IT with primary responsibility for clinical product strategy technology product management, and product marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Works closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to chart the company growth strategy
• Create a technology enabled service roadmap designed to grow the business
• Build and present the business case for each new technology enabled service
• Support new products sales by providing clinical expertise, guidance, and feedback during strategic sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to existing and prospective clients
• Establish Healogics’ clinical credibility and highlight the clinical aspects of our platform and results with medical directors, Chief Medical Officers, clinical staff and others during client meetings and presentations
• Create clinical buy-in for Healogics’ product vision by working closely with operations, IT and sales
• Work with Medical Affairs to insure each service and application meets rigorous evidenced based medicine and supports the usability and adoption by physicians and nurses in the field.
Supervisory Responsibilities
• Manage a team of three product mangaers, a product marketing director and an analyst
Authorities for Position
• Plan and deliver business case for services and required technologies
• Prepare and deliver presentations to the executive team and occasionally the Board of Directors
• Supervise the preparation of the go-to-market strategy by the product management team
• Prepare the budget for service launch
• Manage the product P&L during pilot phase to insure success. Determine criteria necessary for transition to sales and operations for scaling nationwide
• Work with product development and product management teams to write stories for engineering team; assist with software requirements
Qualifications Required for Position
• Clinical experience in wound care (required)
• Additional advance degree such as MBA, MPH, or MHS is preferred
• Experience working in highly regarded business roles such as healthcare administration, health care technology/informatics, digital health, finance or consulting is preferred
• Strong business acumen preferred or ability to demonstrate the pursuit of the necessary business acumen
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to specific audiences
• Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to be creative, think outside of the box, and use acumen to solve challenging problems
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build rapport with internal executives and customers
• Effective, clear communicator
• Adaptive to a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
Must be willing to relocate to Jacksonville, FL
