JOB SUMMARY

Under the limited supervision of the Director of Operations, this incumbent has the complete responsibility for the management of the clubhouse, leadership and supervision of the staff assigned to the clubhouse, and the planning and implementation of program activities to meet the agreed upon goals for the clubhouse.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate the climate and culture of the club and its mission into all aspects of the Clubhouse’s service.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and direction to all staff
  • Serve as a role model for all constituencies
  • Deliver the Clubhouse’s services as planned within the approved budget
  • Contribute to the agency’s further growth in quality of service offered to all its customers Involve parents or caretakers in all services delivered

 

Key Roles

  • Protect health and safety of participants-youth, families and personnel
  • Develop and submit for approval the clubhouse’s annual plan and quarterly plans
  • Supervise the personnel assigned to the clubhouse
  • Directly implement the site’s leadership development program
  • Manage the site within the approved budget
  • Deliver all planned services within all aspects of their unit
  • Evaluate personnel and services delivered from the Clubhouse and recommend action based on the evaluation
  • Serve of the agency’s management team
  • Maintain records and make reports as required by all programs under their supervision
  • Cooperate in the planning and delivery of the agency-wide programs
  • Safeguard assets assigned to unit and assigned facilities
  • Maintain smooth flow of communication with assigned personnel and supervisor
  • Supervise food services as assigned
  • Responsible for proper use and safeguarding of all facilities and equipment as assigned
  • Consistently demonstrate concrete achievement of clubhouse’s short range and long range objectives
  • Maintain licensing compliance
  • Quality services will be effectively and efficiently delivered to all members
  • Programs and services will maximize youth development
  • Director will connect on a regular basis with schools and community
  • Membership will mirror the number of children in neighborhood
Requirements

  • Supervisory Responsibilities - Supervise 3-8 employees. Responsible for hiring, terminating, delegating, assigning or reviewing work Budget responsibilities. Responsible for planning, developing and monitoring budgets related to Club initiatives. Held accountable for bottom line items.
  • Asset Responsibilities - Responsible for maintaining, controlling or administering assets: car, building, supplies, keys

External – professionally communicate with and partner where appropriate with vendors, schools, other human services locally and nationally, government offices

 

  • Working conditions - Regularly required to return to work in emergency situations on an as needed basis/ OR / Regularly required to travel to parts of the county and enter homes alone/ OR / Regularly required to play games and be active with the youth/ OR / Regularly required to clean up unsanitary conditions/ OR / Regularly required to work irregular hours, long hours and some weekends.
