JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing the strategic planning and operation of the Club in support of organizational mission and goals. Collaborates with the Board of Directors in developing organizational goals, attaining/allocating resources, and establishing policies. Provides direction to staff in carrying out the key roles assigned to them. Ensures the annual budget is funded and organization has adequate cash flow, develops strategic plans to generate revenues through a variety of fund raising techniques. Identifies, cultivates and solicits donors. Oversees planning and implementation of special events. Develops, implements and monitors the Club’s annual budget .Develops and implements plans for updating existing technology and resources. Develops strategic alliances with community leaders and local officials. Develops collaborative partnerships with other youth serving organizations, members, parents, families, funders and community organizations. Increases visibility of Club programs, services and activities and maintains good public relations. Demonstrates leadership and initiative.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

·         Bachelor’s Degree, preferably from an accredited college or university

·         Minimum of three years’ experience in managing programs or operations in a non-profit agency or Boys and Girls Club; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Able to pass background check and drug test

·         Demonstrate ability to plan implement effective programs

·         Leadership skills, including negotiation, problem solving and decision making

·         Basic knowledge of asset management including financial resources and property
