The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth is currently accepting resumes for Comin’ Up Case Manager. The Comin’ Up Case Manager is responsible for the implementation and successful execution of case management services and programs for the Comin’ Up Gang Intervention Program. Case Managers provide fundamental support to Comin’ Up Program members to achieve short term and long term goals. Responsibilities include but not limited to case management and member services; documentation, data entry and member files; therapeutic relationships and wrap around services; and safety. The Comin’ Up Gang Intervention Program serves at-risk and gang-involved youth between the ages of 13-24 years in Fort Worth communities. The goal of the Comin’ Up Gang Intervention Program is to positively impact the lives of at risk and gang involved youth by providing needs-based services and activities to reduce the level of gang violence in the City of Fort Worth.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required, Master’s Degree preferred. Preferred majors and/or degrees include Social Work and Counseling. Licensed social worker or counselor preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience working with at risk youth and/or gang involved youth
  • Minimum of 6 months experience with case management
  • Ability to work regular program hours which includes day, evening and night hours with periodic weekends (evening programming hours are 7:00pm – 11:00pm Monday – Friday)
  • Ability to assist youth to progress and achieve their individual goals
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Ability to identify needs and find solutions
  • Ability to work with at-risk youth
  • Knowledge of case management techniques and/or processes
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution or mediation techniques
  • Knowledge of problems and barriers at-risk youth face
  • Must be a team player, willing to collaborate and make team decisions
  • Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
  • Must have satisfactory driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties.

 

Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $16.83 - $17.79 per hour
