JOB SUMMARY

Directs/manages overall daily program operations of The Club Teen Center with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations and membership administration.

Key Roles

·         Establish teen programs with measured outcomes to provide fun, engaging, learning opportunities that prepare youth for success

·         Create a club environment that facilitates achievement of academic success, healthy lifestyles and good citizenship for all Teen members.

·         Provide vision and leadership for Teen staff and Teen leaders within The Club Teen Center.

·         Cultivate key external relationships with Board Members, donors, Town of Southern Pines, Moore County School District and other key stakeholders.

·         Oversee recruitment efforts for both drop-in and high school drop-out prevention programs.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

·         Four year degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience

·         Experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization

·         Strong communication skills, both oral and written

·         Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents and community
