KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
· Knowledge of and experience with the principles and practices of budget development and administration.
· Knowledge of and experience with the principles and practices of program and financial development.
· Knowledge of and experience with the principles and practices of strategic planning.
· Knowledge of and experience with the principles and practices of public relations.
· Ability to effectively select, recruit, lead and supervise staff, Board members and volunteers.
· Ability to administer an annual budget and monitor expenditures and funding to ensure compliance with the same.
· Ability to secure financial and non-financial resources necessary to meet the goals of the strategic plans.
· Ability to represent The Salvation Army in a professional manner and to conduct public speaking engagements in order to promote the mission of the boys & Girls Club.
· Ability to build positive and professional relationships with community leaders, Board of Director members, and volunteers.
