JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Human Resources is directly and solely responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the organization human resource function. Areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to): full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, benefits administration and employment law compliance. The Director of Human Resources will also serve as an advisor to leadership regarding employment related issues and will drive consistency in policy implementation. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree and three years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience. The ability to interact with staff of all levels in a fast paced environment in a growing organization while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Preference will be given to candidates who possess professional HR certifications (i.e. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP), a strong background as a Human Resources Generalist and previous experience working in a nonprofit environment.
