JOB SUMMARY

The Chief Professional Officer is responsible for the operation of The Boys and Girls Club of North Central North Carolina with clubs located in Granville, Franklin and Vance Counties, North Carolina, with the possibility of expansion into Warren County as well.  This position will be responsible for overseeing and managing a $700,000.00 budget, strategic planning and fundraising for and the operation of clubs. 

This individual will provide leadership, direction and support for the Corporate Board of Directors in developing organizational goals, attaining resources, allocating resources, and for establishing policies, as well as being the lead individual responsible for managing all employees.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

·        Ability to work well with a Board of Directors

·        Ability to recruit and manage an effective professional staff

·        Ability to create and manage an annual Budget

·        Ability to develop and implement a Strategic Plan

·        Effectively implement and manage programs developed by the National Boys and Girls Club and other related youth oriented programs for our members.

·        Consistently produce positive results in our youth members.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software

·        Ability to speak in public

·        Ability to develop relationships

·        Ability to solicit funds from individuals and organizations

·        Ability to identify and successfully obtain Grant Funding

·        Live within the community of service area
