JOB SUMMARY

Oversees the Club’s operations and programs with concern for program development and implementation utilizing outcome objective based accountability systems; staff development; facilities, membership, and budget management

 

Key Roles

  • Oversee the implementation and delivery of operations, programs, services and activities that facilitate achievement of the organization’s program goals and outcomes.
  • Oversee the identification and evaluation of opportunities to improve program effectiveness on the basis of participation and achievement of stated goals and outcome objectives; recommends modification to improve program performance as appropriate.
  • Ensure the marketing of the Club’s program and services
  • Coordinates all reports to the Executive Director and reports to funding agencies as required.
  • Manage administrative and operational processes, overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Manage performance of all assigned staff in achieving goals and outcomes, providing technical assistance in program design and development, community relations and program operations.
  • Plan and implement a staff development and training program.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with other youth serving organizations, members, parents, families and community organizations
  • Participate in activities to maintain good public relations for Club programs, services, and activities.
  • Ensure the membership tracking program is maintained as designed.
  • Coordinate the GPTTO case management program as designed.
  • Coordinate the Club’s youth leadership development programs.
  • Coordinate the Kids Café program.
  • Directly supervise the Teen Center staff and the development of its programs.
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of five years’ work experience in non – profit agency operations management and supervision, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Considerable knowledge of the mission, objectives, policies, programs and procedures of Boys & Girls Clubs.
  • Extensive experience in outcome objective program development and evaluation
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, direct and coordinate operations in personnel supervision, the recruitment and retention of key personnel, facility management and budget management
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems with limited supervision.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR
  • Driver’s license and ability to drive Club vehicles
