JOB SUMMARY

This position will direct and manage the daily operation of our Club with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, and training and supervision of the staff. Must be able to plan, promote and implement programs for Club member in accordance with our mission. Will work in partnership with our staff to ensure that a myriad of pro-social and youth development opportunities are available to all Club members. Will serve as a liaison between parents, school, community groups and club members. The Club director must maintain the club operation within its annual budget. The Club Director will work with our Grant Manager to seek grants and help implement grants within the club programming.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree preferred;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong time management and project prioritization skills;
• Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, and the recruitment and retention of personnel
• Working knowledge of budget management;
• Demonstrated ability to work with young people, parents and community leaders;
• Experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization.
