The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth is currently accepting resumes for Prevention Educator. The Prevention Educator, under the supervision of the Prevention Services Director, is responsible for implementing the Too Good For Drugs program. Too Good For Drugs Program is designed to provide youth skills for managing emotions, communicating effectively, making positive friendships, countering social influences, analyzing media messages and refusing peer pressure. Responsibilities include facilitating curriculum, conducting presentations, attending community events, networking and relationship building, data collecting and reporting, being a positive role model for youth and preparing youth for success in their future. The goal of the program is to preclude the onset of the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs by youth and to foster the development of positive social and physical environments that promote healthy and drug free lifestyles.
