JOB SUMMARY

Want to work with the community, while having fun? Must love to manage and coordinate special events in the community. Looking for a "Resource Development Director" to help develop and implement plans to keep past and current donors engaged in the work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire. Develop and execute our annual giving campaign. Prepare reports and summaries of development activities for the board of directors and CEO. Will write grant proposals and reports for foundations and other entities.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

·        Minimum 4 year degree

·        Minimum 3 years’ experience in public relations and marketing or fundraising is preferred

·        Must have excellent organizational and planning skills.

·        Strong eye for detail.

·        Ability to write well; speak well in front of small groups and one-on-one

·        Have a positive personality and excellent inter-personal skills.
