If you answered yes, we are looking for you!!!!! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth is currently accepting resumes for Activity Leader. The Activity Leader, under direct supervision of the Branch Director, is responsible for assisting at assigned sites in various areas of the club to help youth reach their full potential. Position will travel to various sites to fill in where needed as assigned by supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct programs and activities, build relationships, be a positive role model; and safety. At the branches, youth receive targeted services in a safe, supportive environment from staff who believe in the organization’s mission.
• The Club experience focuses on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the health and human services field to include work with youth
• Ability to work afternoons and evening

• Monday – Friday 2:30pm - 7:00pm

• Ability to work summer hours

• 37.5 hours per week during the day Monday - Friday

• Ability to be a positive role model
• Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
• Ability to relate to at-risk youth
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
• Position requires driving company vehicle. Candidates must have satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under the company insurance the requirement is for employee to be a minimum of age 21.
• Pay & Benefits Pay: $10.00 per hour
• Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual
