JOB SUMMARY

This is a part-time, Bilingual (English/Spanish), Front-Desk Administrative Assistant position.

 

Provide clerical and administrative support to the Executive Director, Clubhouse Director, and Academic Director. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative tasks and be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting a small club of diverse people, children, and programs. Excellent written and verbal communication and strong decision making ability and attention to detail are essential. This person will follow club protocol for check-in and check-out of members. Assist with new member inquiries and submitting applications into a database. Perform regular administrative duties promptly and effectively; answer and direct all incoming calls, disburse and/or process incoming and outgoing mail and/or electronic communications, and prepare correspondence on behalf of management as necessary. Assist management with preparation of presentation materials, generate, review and summarize miscellaneous reports. Work closely with the Clubhouse Director to coordinate, exchange information, and give assistance, and provide information regarding club activities and needs. Maintains close, daily contact with Clubhouse Director and Academic Director. Assist with fundraisers and events for club promotion purposes. Point of contact for Facility Rental inquiries and volunteers $9-$12hr D.O.E Potential pay increase after 90 Days probationary periods Hours: M,T,Th, Fri 2pm-6pm Wednesday 1pm-6pm (during school year program) M-F 12pm-6pm (during summer program).

 

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

·         Bilingual (English/Spanish)

·         Previous experience in office environment (office & phone etiquette)

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

·         Pass Background Check
