JOB SUMMARY

Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club is located on the north shore of Nassau County and serves approx. 175-200 members a day in grades K - 12. If you are an energetic individual that enjoys working with children in a fun & lively setting, we have a great opportunity in our Technology Center. Our Technology Center has 20 stations where we assist members’ basic computer skills, educational research, computer animation, digital drawing and other fun interactive programs. We are seeking a Tech savvy individual to work Monday - Friday 4pm - 8pm and guide our members in STEAM oriented projects, learn and teach Girls Who Code, Lego Robotics and other computer centered activities.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

• Previous experience working with children in group setting
• Good communication skills to keep members engaged and attentive.
• Knowledge of computers to set-up room and address minor technical problems.
