JOB SUMMARY

Join us as we approach the grand re-opening of our clubs in the cool mountain communities of Prescott & Prescott Valley. We offer after school and summer programs to youth aged 6 - 18 and our programs really made a difference in their lives! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona is searching for a Director of Club Operations to provide a safe, positive and motivational environment for youth, families, staff and volunteers. This position will supervise daily programs and operations for two after school clubhouses which includes: supervise staff and volunteers, develop youth and teen relationships, recruit members and provide oversight for implementation of all programs and activities. Will also develop collaborative relationships with community partners. This is a high visibility position requiring excellent communication and time management skills.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

·        We require relevant experience in a youth-centered environment.

·        Must have minimum 2 years direct supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to provide motivation, supervision and guidance to staff, members and volunteers.

·        Experience in a broad range of youth and teen programming also required; Boys & Girls Clubs experience preferred.

·        Must be at least age 21, with an AZ Drivers’ License and clean driving record to meet our insurance requirements for transporting youth. We prefer college degree or equivalent and familiarity with youth tracking software. This is a growing program and flexibility in your work schedule will be required.

·        Please note initial work schedule will be 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend and extended hours during intercessions & summer.
