JOB SUMMARY

Do you love working with children? Do you have the desire to make a difference in the lives of children? If yes, then we have the perfect position for you! We are looking for passionate, energetic and professional individuals for our various child care programs to serve as Music Performing Arts Instructors in our after School programs specifically working with Dance, Singing and Acting. Hours Part-Time. The shifts usually range between 1.5-4.5 hours per week, and are often supplemented with program staff shifts for additional hours. We may have additional hours available when school is not in session and we offer day camp programming. The Clubs are closed on weekends, but open on many school holidays and vacation periods.

Supervision of a group of children Plans, implements, and evaluates programs and activities. Ensure programs, services and activities that prepare youth for success, promote safety of members and quality in programs at all times. Plan, organize and implement a range of program services and activities for monthly and enrichment program members. Assist with all club-wide special events. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

·         Required two years’ experience in before and after school youth programming.

·         Ability to communicate with the general public clearly and to organize and problem solve.

·         Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications

·         Microsoft Office.

·         Early Childhood Credits a plus

·         Performing Arts Background preferred
