KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
· Completion of sufficient education and training to read, write, and follow directions and minimum 2 years janitorial or custodial experience.
· Experience with office or building cleaning is preferred.
· Candidates must be able to work outside normal business hours to include nights and weekends. Position requires 20 hours per week between the hours of 11:00pm and 8:00am Monday - Friday.
· Candidates should also have ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment and supplies; ability to perform manual labor; knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules; knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools and equipment of the janitorial service; knowledge of the proper use of chemicals and cleaning products; and must be dependable and punctual.
· Experience using a buffer and scrubber preferred.
· Position requires driving personal vehicle. Candidates must have reliable transportation, liability insurance, satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties.
