JOB SUMMARY

The Ludlow Community Center/Randall Boys & Girls Club is a community based not for profit, which provides youth and adult life enhancing programs. Our programs focus on promoting healthy lifestyles, academic success, and developing strong character and leadership skills. The Club is currently looking for a Site Coordinator to provide a safe and nurturing environment and offer members with opportunities to learn and grow through quality programming and services within our community. The Site Coordinator directs and manages daily program operations with the primary concern for program and service delivery, supervision of staff, facilities management and community relations.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Site Coordinator will assist in our Department of Early Education and Care licensed After School Program during the school year, Summer Camp Program during the summer, as well as, plan and implement a variety of educational, social and recreational events and programs for the community year round. During the school year the Site Coordinator will assist in the overall supervision and operation of The After School Program.

 

Duties will include compliance with EEC regulations, supervising staff, providing guidance to members, scheduling, program planning, and interacting with families. During the summer, the Site Coordinator will assist in the overall supervision and operation of our Summer Camp Program. During camp, in cooperation with the Camp Director the Site Coordinator’s duties will include compliance with Board of Health Summer Camp regulations, marketing, planning, scheduling, and enrollment as well as the supervision of the daily operations of the Camp. Throughout the entire year, The Site Coordinator will be responsible for planning marketing, and implementing a broad range of programs and events to the community as well as act as the organization’s volunteer coordinator.

 

Hours: School Year: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 11:45AM-8:15PM Friday: 10:45AM-7:15PM Saturday: 7:45AM-4:15 PM Summer: Monday – Friday 9:30AM-6:00PM.

Participation in the Club’s medical insurance plan, as well as dental/vision insurance. Full-time employees are provided with an adult fitness membership to take advantage of our fitness room, pool, and exercise classes. Full-time employees are also provided with paid holidays, vacation days, sick time and personal time

 

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Associates Degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, Human Services or related youth development field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ year work experience with School Age Children
  • First Aid & CPR certified (or ability to get upon hire)
  • Knowledge of EEC Regulations
  • Strong communication skill, both verbal and written
