KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
· The successful candidate will have a BA degree, administrative experience with a non-profit agency, a demonstrated record of community-based achievement, and successful experience in raising funds.
· This position requires a working knowledge of youth-related issues, strong fiscal management skills, and excellent speaking, writing, marketing, and public relations skills.
· This candidate must also have a demonstrated ability to oversee a budget and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with the board of directors, seven-person staff, community volunteers and agency funding sources.
