Reporting to the Senior Director, Learning Strategies, Program, Training & Youth Development Services, the Training Coordinator (TC) will manage and coordinate efficient execution of learning opportunities for Boys & Girls Club professionals to meet their learning needs, support their professional growth and development and support the strategic goals of BGCA. Physically located in Atlanta, GA., the Training Coordinator must be a culture leader, establishing a creative and relentlessly focus on impact that balances big-picture ideas with a rootedness in the realities of how to provide learning across the more than 3,700 Clubs that define the BGCA federated model of impact. This position maintains specific focus on supporting the learning needs of youth development and management professionals by utilizing cutting edge learning technology to optimally manage learning assets, execute learning events and initiatives and accurately report end results. He/she will deliver on innovative thinking and business-changing recommendations that will inform the core of our youth development and social impact work. The Training Coordinator is a process leader who identifies strategies and actions which improve operational efficiencies. The Training Coordinator daily manages Spillett Leadership University (SLU) Help Desk, as well as effectively supports PTYDS program directors and leaders in the delivery of a portfolio of program activations and trainings across the more than 4,000 Clubs that define the BGCA federated model of impact. The Training Coordinator must work collaboratively to represent the interests of the Program, Training & Youth Development Services (PTYDS) department, partnering with Organizational & Executive Development Services (OEDS), Planning & Measurement, Resource Development, Marketing & Communications, Government Relations, corporate partners and others as directed.

Requirements Education

BS/BA degree preferred with at least 5 years related experience in a training environment.

Experience

• Minimum three years demonstrated successful youth development, project management, event management, grants management, customer service, and training experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and other applicable software applications (LMS, Adobe Suite, SharePoint);
• 50-60 wpm typing with high degree of accuracy;
• Excellent time management skills;
• Ability to make sound decisions and problem solve;
• Data entry experience;
• Good grammar, strong customer service and communication skills;
• Strong planning and organizational skills; great attention to detail
